Timeline
Starting in 2024, the AYM High team has met with Jessica and Kevin regularly to address hard questions, give tough love (emphasis on love), guide, assess margins, fix rates and pricing, facilitate a store makeover, add and grow printing services and equipment, and purge toxic staff.
Goals
To help Kevin and Jessica fix a number of issues they were facing, including tough family business dynamics, staffing issues, and money bleeds.
Results
Kevin and Jessica’s business is now booming! Like, really booming! They’ve, with AYM High’s help, added many new pieces of printing equipment–printers, finishers, cutters, etc.–and have grown their print business significantly. They now do dozens of yard signs each week, books, banners, posters, and tons and tons of blueprints (using a roll of blueprint paper up every other day!)
This power couple is now highly involved in their community. Their margins and pricing has been significantly tweaked and the bottom line is much healthier as a result. Staff who had been stealing (both money and time) have been axed, new staff hired (though they can’t keep up with staffing due to incredibly high demand now for their services, thanks to their amazing efforts), social media presence is growing leaps and bounds, and their business has a had a total paint job and signage makeover.
They’re networked very well with other AYM HIgh Soarers through the private AYM High Soarers Facebook Group and consistently give their all to others who need guidance and print questions answered.
High-ticket sales are a daily occurrence now, with clients like the largest real estate agent in their county and a major grocery chain that they now do regional and corporate printing work for. Their drop-off numbers often reach over 1,000 per day, with foot traffic and orders completely booming.
To say that Kevin and Jessica are two of our favorite Soarers is an understatement. We care about them deeply and their gratitude on each and every call, along with their constant good news about growth, warms our hearts. But we keep on them to keep the standard high, stay accountable, and implement new strategies monthly that allow them to soar, soar, soar!
